Manchmal wird es recht herausfordernd, wenn wieder einmal ein Update eines bestimmten Paketes gebraucht wird, welches man mental in die Kategorie &#8222;muss von allein funktionieren&#8220; einsortiert hat. Wie zum Beispiel alle m\u00f6glichen Grunt-tasks und den daraus resultierenden Abh\u00e4ngigkeiten zu <em>Node.js<\/em> und dem JavaScript Paketmanager <em>NPM<\/em>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Normalerweise kann man die meisten Pakete relativ einfach installieren, indem man APT bem\u00fcht. Manche Versionen sind &#8211; auf einem Ubuntu, das fast 2 Jahre alt ist &#8211; aber nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. In jedem Fall muss man die Pakte aber erst einmal auf dem Rechner haben:<\/p>\n<p>Um die ben\u00f6tigten Aktualisierungen zu erhalten, kann man sich entweder auf <em>nodesource.com<\/em> die neuesten Pakete besorgen oder den <em>Node Version Manager<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/creationix\/nvm\/\">NVM<\/a> bem\u00fchen.<\/p>\n<p>Nachdem man das Terminal neu gestartet hat, kann man sich dann beispielsweise die aktuell verf\u00fcgbaren Versionen anzeigen lassen und bei Bedarf die aktuelle LTS (zum heutigen Zeitpunkt ist es die v8.9.4) oder irgendeine andere verf\u00fcgbare Version installieren.<\/p>\n<p>Eine ganze Reihe weiterer Optionen, lassen sich zudem mit <code>nvm help<\/code> anzeigen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eine ganze Reihe von Entwicklern hier [bei MotorK] benutzt eine Entwicklungsumgebung, welche auf Ubuntu 16.04 LTS aufsetzt.
